Maintenance

Maintaining an OpenDroneMap installation involves several tasks, including:

  • Software Updates: Keep the OpenDroneMap software up-to-date by regularly checking for and applying new releases, which may include bug fixes, performance improvements, and new features.

  • Dependency Management: Ensure that the required dependencies, such as Python packages and system libraries, are kept up-to-date to avoid compatibility issues.

  • Hardware Maintenance: Monitor the hardware resources (e.g., CPU, memory, storage) used by OpenDroneMap and perform necessary upgrades or maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

  • Backup and Restoration: Regularly back up the input imagery, configuration files, and processed outputs to be able to restore the system in case of any data loss or system failure.

  • Troubleshooting: Investigate and address any issues or errors that may arise during the processing of data, leveraging the available log files and the community support resources
