ToPackedDecimal Function

Converts specified numeric value to packed decimal bytes.

Syntax

ToPackedDecimal (scalar String)

Arguments

Argument	Description
scalar String	Numeric string to be converted to packed decimal

Examples:

ToString(ToPackedDecimal('-1234.567'))

Returns packed decimal byte array of 1234567D.
