Menu Manager

Overview

The Menu Manager allows to manage menus and submenus for the platform. This includes creating, editing, organizing, and assigning access rights to different menu items.

Key Features

  1. Menus Panel (Left Side):

    a. Displays a hierarchical list of menus and submenus.

    b. Use the Edit icon to modify the menu structure or properties.

  2. Submenu Details (Right Side):

a. Displays the items under a selected menu (e.g., Profile).(similar naming to be followed -- "Profile" and :user profile is used.

b. Each submenu item has an Edit icon to customize its settings or roles.

  1. Sidebar Navigation:

    a. Navigate to related features like Groups, Roles, and Settings to manage permissions.

How to Use

  1. View Menus and Submenus:

    a. Select a menu from the left panel to see its submenus in detail on the right.

  2. Edit a Menu:

    a. Click the Edit icon next to the menu or submenu you want to modify.

  3. Organize Menu :

    a. Use the drag-and-drop feature to rearrange menu items (if available).

  4. Assign Roles:

    a. Define which roles (e.g., Site Admin, Editor) can view or modify a menu item.

Adding a New Menu:

a. Navigate to the menu hierarchy and click on "Add" button (if visible).

  1. Enabling or Disabling a Menu Item:

    a. Use the toggle or status options during editing.

  2. Setting Permissions:

    a. Select the Roles section and specify access for each menu.
