1. System Monitoring​

Performance​

  • Monitor CPU and GPU utilization during video playback and export using Windows Task Manager.
  • High-resolution editing (5.7K / 8K) requires a powerful GPU; ensure hardware acceleration is enabled for optimal performance.

Disk Usage​

  • 360° video files can be very large; ensure sufficient free space on high-speed storage devices.
  • Monitor the cache folder size and clear it periodically through application settings if required.

2. Application Monitoring​

  • Review application logs if crashes, using Windows Event Viewer.
  • Track export successes and failures to identify potential codec or GPU-related issues.
  • Monitor playback behavior (lag or stuttering) and adjust preview resolution to improve performance.

3. User Activity Monitoring​

  • Track project edits and exports to maintain a clear workflow history.
  • Monitor rendering and export durations to evaluate overall system performance.
  • Maintain a record of export formats used to ensure consistency across projects.

4. Best Practices​

  • Use a dedicated drive for raw footage and project files.
