Open Exisiting DPL Packs

Users can open existing packs in DPL Studio to review, modify, or extend the preconfigured data flows.

To Setup the Open Exiting Pack

1. Open the DPL Studio application.
2. From the Home menu, select Open Pack.
3. Navigate to the following directory: C:\Program Files\DPLStudio\net6.0-windows\Sample Packs
4. Select a sample pack to open.
5. Right-click the created Source Connection → Edit → Edit Connection.
6. Enter valid credentials or provide the required file path.
7. Click Test Connection.
8. Click OK.
9. Click Finish.

Standard Query

**1. Right-click the created Standard Query → Edit.
2. Drag and drop a table into the query window, or edit the existing table.
3. From the Home menu, select Preview to view the results.
4. Click Close, then click Yes to confirm.

Aggregate Query

1. Right-click the created Aggregate Query → Edit.
2. Drag and drop the tables, then join the related columns using Join Queries.
3. From the Home menu, select Preview to view the results.
4. Click Close, then click Yes to confirm.

Transform Query

1. Right-click the created Transform Query → Edit.
2. In the Transform Query window, edit the required transform functions as needed.
3. From the Home menu, select Preview.
4. Click Close, then click Yes to confirm.

Export Template

1. Right-click the created Export Template → Edit Template.
2. Edit the connector to use Files, Databases, or Applications.
3. Enter valid credentials or provide the required file path to connect.
4. Create the table name, then select queries to map.
5. Click Next → Next → Next → Next.
6. Click Run Export.
7. Click Finish.
