Accessing Data: Data Connections

Before creating queries and export templates in DPL Studio, you must identify the source of the data that will be used. This can be done by creating a Data Connection.

A Data Connection contains information about the server that hosts the data source, the data location, authentication details, and any required configuration settings. DPL Studio provides a wizard to help users create data connections for each connector. These dialogs are similar to the Microsoft Windows Data Link Properties dialogs.
