Monitoring involves tracking project progress, site changes, and survey accuracy using Pix4Dmatic.

1. Project Processing Monitoring

  • Provides real-time feedback during photogrammetry steps:
    • Camera calibration
    • Point cloud densification
    • Mesh, DSM, and orthomosaic generation
  • Built-in quality reports include:
    • Camera alignment success rate
    • Ground Sampling Distance (GSD)
    • Reprojection errors
    • Processing duration and hardware usage
  • Ensures monitoring of accuracy, completeness, and data integrity while projects are running.

2. Spatial Monitoring (Change Detection)

Used to monitor sites over time by comparing repeated drone surveys:
